Montana Pool Services was founded by Jeff Ament of Pearl Jam.
His efforts began in 1992 when he helped pay to re-sheet several Seattle skate parks where he was living at the time. Ament then focused his efforts on his home state, Montana. Having grown up in the small town of Big Sandy himself, Jeff knows firsthand how beneficial an outlet skating can be in a young person's life.
MPS not only collaborates with the rural communities of Montana to bring them skate parks but also provides scholarships for young people in those towns hoping to further their education and pursue opportunities that would be harder to take advantage of.
